Five special interest groups of CFG developed over time to explore specific topics that

offer even more opportunity for our members to explore the world of fiber arts.

Through CFG groups members learn about exhibiting professionally, study quilting techniques, make creative clothing, hats and accessories, apply a variety of media to different substrates, create fabric sculptures, or pursue other areas of fiber art

FREESTYLE THREADS

Freestyle Threads focuses on reusing items to create products of higher quality or value than the original. Share ideas and creations.

HIGH FIBER DIET

High Fiber Diet centers upon opportunities to exhibit and learn about the exhibition process with a commitment to advancing artists in their profession endeavors.

SURFACE DESIGN

Surface Design focuses on techniques and problem solving for all facets of applied design.

CREATIVE WEARABLES

Creative Wearables focuses on the wonderful world of wearables with emphasis on creativity and sharing.

HANDSTITCHING

Handstitching provides the space to inspire each other, to share ideas, materials, sources and techniques, and, of course, to stitch.
