About the event

Amanda Richardson is an artist, internationally acclaimed for her richly colored textile collages. Her art reflects her passion for the landscape; sea, cliffs, rocks and plants.
A graduate of Goldsmiths College, University of London, Amanda pioneered a technique using hand dyed fabrics such as silks, satins and velvets, to create dynamic artworks that respond to variations in light, creating a continuingly fresh experience for the viewer. She has been commissioned to create artworks for a multitude of public spaces, from a towering collage in the foyer of the Waldorf Astoria in Florida, to large works at Boeing headquarters, Universities in Alaska and Washington, to entrances of major banks, and corporate offices.
