About the event

Suzanne Moseley is a Boston-based fiber artist and educator whose practice spans upcycled materials, experimental botanical processes, fiber art, and photography-based methods. Widely exhibited throughout New England, her solo and collaborative works are held in corporate and private collections and have been featured in Fiber Art Now, the Boston Globe, and through engagements with institutions such as the Harvard Art Museum, Berklee College of Music, and Montserrat College of Art.

In this lecture, Suzanne will share her background as both an artist and teacher, highlighting key works that demonstrate her experimental approach to fiber media and her interest in objects that are both hollow and hallowed. She will also introduce her two major collaborations—MOSH Studio with Adrienne Shishko, focused on sculptural portraits made from community waste streams, and her grant-funded cyanotype-based sculptural work with Liz Shepherd.

Emphasizing her unusual capacity for creative partnership, Suzanne will discuss how collaboration has shaped…
