2018 Exhibition Opportunity in Brazil
Columbia FiberArts Guild has been invited to submit work for the Patchwork Design 2018 exhibition in Brazil. Patchwork Design is a commercial quilt expo that focuses on art quilts and contemporary fiber. The event takes place over 3-day weekends in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, and Curitiba, Brazil. The expo includes several special exhibits, exhibits of Brazilian quilts, and possibly some solo shows. Patchwork Design has been putting on beautiful fiber art exhibitions for 18 years. Quilts are exhibited in gallery-like settings, creating stunning shows. See the Patchwork Design website for information on past shows, exhibitors, news releases, and more (use the Google translator to get the page in English).
Entering is easy and submission is free. Read the prospectus carefully. Contact Bonnie Bucknam at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Please take advantage of this international exhibition opportunity.
Columbia FiberArts Guild (CFG) artists continue their rich heritage of promoting the fiber arts as a feature show in NW Quilt Expo’s 2015 Exhibition. The exhibition, entitled “A River Runs Through It,” showcases original designs that visually express sentiments about the rivers in their lives while embracing the overarching Quilt Expo theme of Living in the Pacific Northwest. Whether a river is a metaphor or a landscape, the artistry of CFG members will excite and enlighten NW Quilt Expo 2015 attendees.
